Trilogy launches ‘edge/point’ Managed Services Portal

Trilogy has launched ‘edge/point’, the company’s newly developed managed services portal.  Trilogy’s edge/point portal is a highly functional, ‘window into an infrastructure’ portal and provides real-time visibility of a client’s entire IT infrastructure, anywhere via a standard Web browser.

Called ‘edge/point’, the portal provides organisations with an overview of their  entire IT infrastructure including incident management, technical support, detailed reporting and change and problem management information.  As there is no need for training, and there are no overheads in terms of implementation, costs are reduced over all.  ‘edge/point’ gives customers the flexibility to choose how much or how little participation they wish to have over the viewing of the health of their infrastructure.  Trilogy’s ‘edge/point’ portal is a key feature of Trilogy’s managed services offering which devolves tasks to intelligent agents to monitor systems and components and provide feedback on their status.

“Trilogy’s managed service improves a company’s productivity by having far greater control and visibility over their technology platform, at one touch of a button”, explains Neil Stone-Wigg, Chief Technology Office, Trilogy Technologies.  “We focus on keeping clients’ entire technology platforms ahead of the curve, freeing them to focus on the applications that give them a competitive edge.”  Now with the additional help from the newly launched Trilogy ‘edge/point’ portal, it is even easier to helps users’ head-off problems before they occur.  By taking snapshots of key information it is able to trend situations over any time period giving a unique angle on how to pre-empt and troubleshoot situations.”

“Think of ‘edge/point’ as a search party,” concludes Neil.  “It is constantly exploring the infrastructure for potential issues and resolving them before the user even knows about them.”  Benefits include the ability to achieve better systems performance and less downtime with fewer demands on internal IT resources and staff.  Trilogy’s ‘edge/point’ gives a seamless end-user experience with visibility into the client’s own infrastructure as well as Trilogy’s support of that infrastructure.
