BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The role of Business Development Manager is a key position as part of our growing business development team. Based in Dublin we are looking for a keen, experienced individual with an excellent track record in the ICT industry.
The Trilogy business development team works closely with our customers and are experienced, enthusiastic people with real presence, who know how to build and nurture relationships, both internally and externally. As a member of this team you should be an excellent communicator and facilitator. You should have the capability to propose concise, complete and compelling ICT solutions to our customers which deliver real business value.
Description of Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Business Development in Managed Services, ICT Infrastructure or Virtualisation Solutions
- Maintain and deliver on a sales pipeline of prospects to agreed quality, time and resource constraints
- Responsible for delivering agreed targets, quarterly and overall annually
- Drive growth by increasing the flow of opportunities
- Initiate and qualify opportunities that are appropriate to Trilogy and have a justified business case for the customer
- Provide the required level of pre and post-sales engagement to secure new and/or repeat business
- Communicate effectively with project and development teams
- Networking & Relationship Development with clients, prospects and industry partners
Qualifications
- Relevant ICT market knowledge with strong list of personal contacts, understanding of key influencers, networking groups and their roles
- Minimum of 8+ years ICT Industry business development and account management experience
- Relevant ICT Technology Sales Qualifications from key Trilogy technology partners
- Viewed as a ‘trusted advisor’ by previous customers, has the ability to engage comfortably at the most senior level and has a deep understanding of the customer’s business. Typically act as a customer advocate.
