SALES ADMINISTRATOR
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role is a critical support to the sales team.
General Administrative Responsibilities
Sales Support Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum revenue achieved on all quotes/orders processed
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
- Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers' profitability profiles
- Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
- Obtain accurate information from suppliers relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery and keep client updated
- Support sales team and customers through timely and accurate response to their requests for prices, quotation and other general information
- Processing of customers orders, queries for nominated accounts
- Database administration
- Keep track, quote and process all clients' annual renewable agreements
- Support other team members as necessary
- Following up with clients on quotes issued
- Ensure deliveries destined for clients go out to client quickly
- Liaise with dispatch to ensure ticket creation for all fixed price work
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
- Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
- Creation of invoices for clients for all sales
